    Ashurst Primary School is seeking an excellent School Business Manager to join a driven and committed team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where professional development is encouraged, and every child is valued.

    Our School Business Manager will become key to the success of the school and we need someone who has proven skills in the strategic development and leadership of: finance, HR, facilities and health and safety.

    The role will involve close liaison with the Governing Body, Leadership Team and all staff, therefore the ability to work in a team and be emotionally intelligent and positive is essential.

    Staff and Governors are committed to ensuring excellence and high standards in unlocking each child's potential through a nurturing approach and caring environment. Every child is warmly welcomed into the 'Family of Ashurst' and is equally valued and challenged to achieve their best, as we work in collaboration with parents/carers to ensure success and achievement for all our children.

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Builds strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
    • Is committed to high standards and achieving the best outcomes for all
    • Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life

    We are looking for someone with:

    • Proven ability to manage a busy, school office environment and deal with parents, children and staff effectively and efficiently
    • Experience of financial management, budget planning and control,
    • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety management
    • Good communication skills
    • Very good organisation and time management skills
    • The ability to lead and manage
    • Excellent IT skills proficient in Word, Excel
    • Skills to work well under pressure and adapt as necessary
