Job Description

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 40 weeks per year plus 6.2 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

We are a popular and successful village primary school looking to appoint an enthusiastic School Secretary to be a part of our friendly and supportive team.

The successful candidate will be front of house for the school dealing with pupils, parents/carers and visitors to the school.

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks including attendance, admissions, administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, managing the school diary and our MIS (management information system), processing incoming and outgoing communications and first aid.

To be successful in this busy role, you will have a good standard of education, previous administrative experience and good Microsoft Office skills. You will be organised and methodical with a flexible approach to work and able to use your initiative. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
