
SEN Teaching and Learning Assistant
Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s education and wellbeing? We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant (Grade 7) to work 1:1 with pupils, helping them thrive both academically and personally.
In this rewarding role, you will support a child’s learning, confidence and independence, working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver tailored programmes that enable meaningful participation in the curriculum. You will build a positive, trusting relationship with the pupil—celebrating their successes, encouraging their curiosity and helping them develop essential life and learning skills.
As part of our caring school community, you will contribute to creating a welcoming, stimulating environment where every child feels included and valued. You will play a key role in maintaining high expectations, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the pupil at all times.
You’ll work alongside a supportive team, liaise with external professionals where needed, and take an active part in the wider life of the school—from accompanying educational visits to assisting with breaktime duties.
Training and development opportunities will be available to help you grow your expertise and confidence in the role. Previous experience of working with SEN children is essentialto the role.

Salary range
- £20,374.92 - £21,859.68 per year
