    Broad Oak Primary School is seeking two SENCO enthusiastic, dedicated, and creative SENCOs to join our friendly and committed team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an inclusive, supportive environment where professional development is encouraged and every child is valued. A brand new, purpose built SEN Unit is expected to open in September 2027.

    The roles are perfect for current or aspiring SENCos who wish to take the next steps in their leadership pathway by joining our dedicated SENCo team and working together to further develop SEND provision across the school at this exciting point in our school's journey.

    As one of our four SENDCos , successful candidates will be part of the middle leadership team and have dedicated SEND time out of class. One role will be within a phase in Key Stage 2 (Years 3/4 or 5/6) and some experience of Year 6 could be an advantage but this is not essential. The other role will be within Key Stage One or EYFS depending on the strengths of the candidate.

    Successful candidates will be supported to complete the NPQ for SENCOs if they do not already hold this qualification.
