Pay Band D / SCP 5 - 6
£25,583 - £25,989 pro rata per annum
SEN Allowance £1539
Actual Salary: £18,073 – £18,360 per annum
Actual SEN allowance £1,087
28.75 hours per week / 46 weeks per year / Term time

We are seeking a committed and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 1 pupil with speech, language and communication needs. The successful candidate will work both 1:1 and with the pupil in small-group settings to help them access the curriculum and make strong progress.
Experience of supporting children with speech, language and communication needs is highly beneficial. An understanding of autism and how to adapt provision to meet individual needs would also be an advantage.
We are looking for someone who is patient, proactive and able to build positive, trusting relationships. A flexible approach and a willingness to work closely with the class teacher and wider team are essential.
