Heathfield Schools’ Partnership is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to support children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) across various positions within the Junior School.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality classroom support and targeted interventions for pupils with SEND and, depending on experience, may also be required to lead or cover class teaching where appropriate.

We are proud of the inclusive support we provide for children with SEND and have a dedicated and experienced team of Teaching Assistants led by a Team Leader. We work closely with families and maintain high expectations to ensure all pupils achieve their very best outcomes.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Holds GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)

Has experience working as a Teaching Assistant

Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Has strong communication and organisational skills

Demonstrates a caring, inclusive and positive attitude towards pupils, parents and staff

Has a high standard of literacy and numeracy
-
Is confident using ICT to support the requirements of the role

Has strong practical skills and good attention to detail
-
Is committed to training and ongoing professional development
