Job summary
At the CMA, the Commercial team delivers end to end commercial activity across the whole of the CMA and across several key categories, People, Property, Digital & IT and Market Research. As an IT Senior Commercial Manager, you will work closely with our IT & Digital colleagues and deliver a variety of IT and digital services.

Job description
As the IT Senior Commercial Manager, you will work directly with the IT category lead, playing a key role in ensuring that CMA’s procurement activity meets the business needs and delivers value. You will be required to take the lead in the procurement of a range of services and goods and manage a range of Pre-Market, and Sourcing activities. In addition, you will provide commercial input on Contract Management and have the opportunity to support the delivery of an exciting programme of transformation that will deliver to the changing needs of the CMA.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be professionally qualified (MCIPS) or have a suitable equivalent (or working towards). You’ll have experience of successfully delivering procurement activity within a public sector environment or similarly regulated sectors. It is also important that you have knowledge and demonstrable experience of both contract and supplier management, and commercial contracting in relevant areas.

- Professionally qualified (MCIPS – Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) or suitable equivalent (or working towards) (Lead Criteria).

- The selection process will comprise of the sift (CV & application review), and an interview.

Interview stage
