Southwark Council is strengthening how it uses digital channels and communications data to improve how it reaches residents and evaluates the impact of communications activity.
The Communications team, within Strategy and Communities, leads the council’s approach to communications, campaigns, media relations and digital content. The team works across the organisation to ensure that council priorities are communicated clearly, residents can access information about services and initiatives, and communications activity supports meaningful engagement and impact.
We are looking for a Senior Content and Data Officer to support the management of digital content and communications performance reporting.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role you will:
- Create and manage digital content across communications channels.
- Support the development of accessible and user-focused content.
- Utilise communications analytics and support reporting on performance.
- Work with campaign and media teams to ensure content is delivering impact and reaching target audiences
- Support the development of communications insight and reporting.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience producing digital communications content.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Experience using analytics tools to monitor communications performance.
- Strong organisational and collaboration skills.
- An interest in using data to improve communications effectiveness.
