About the role

As a Council Tax Recovery Senior Officer, you’ll play a key role within our Revenues & Benefits service, helping to ensure income is collected accurately and efficiently to support vital services for our communities. You’ll act as a specialist in Council Tax recovery, handling complex cases while supporting the wider team to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service. You’re an experienced Revenues professional with strong knowledge of Council Tax recovery and the confidence to handle complex cases. You’re highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. With excellent communication and influencing skills, you can support colleagues, provide constructive feedback and engage with customers in a professional and empathetic way. You’re proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable taking the lead when needed, and you’re committed to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes, reflecting our THRIVE values in everything you do.

Salary range
- £39,190 - £41,797 per year
