The SEN team is responsible for carrying out Education Health & Care (EHC) needs assessments, issuing and maintaining EHC plans and coordinating the educational placement of children and young people with SEND. This newly restructured team is dedicated to moving forward with continuous improvement and working towards robust and positive outcomes for our children and young people.We are seeking a highly motivated, reflective individual for this post. As a Senior EHC Coordinator, the successful applicant will act as lead SEND Officer for aspects of the EHCP processes whilst also undertaking specific higher level casework tasks. This post requires experience in using a working alongside approach to develop the knowledge and understanding required to improve casework management and develop a high quality and skilled casework team.
The individual will need a sound working knowledge of SEN. A commitment to co-productive working with parents, carers, children, and professionals is essential for this role.
