Title: Senior Home Moves Co-Ordinator

Contract Type: FTC until 30th September 2026, Full Time, 35 hours

Salary: £32,188 per annum to £35,593 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience

Grade: 7

Reporting Office: Manchester, Trafford - Nexus, 4 Brindley Road, Old Trafford, Manchester M16 9HQ

Working Location: Greater Manchester – A full driving license is required

Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday – 09:00 – 17:00

Closing Date: 13th November 2025 – 23:00

Your impact in the role - As a Senior Home Moves Co-Ordinator, you will:

  • Assist the Home Moves Team to provide a comprehensive, efficient, resident and performance focussed service to all prospective, new and transferring tenants and customers
  • Provide additional expertise and support to colleagues dealing with challenging or complex cases.
  • Be passionate in developing excellent relationships with key partners and stakeholders such as HOST, Trafford Council, TDAS and Housing First
  • Take the lead in Home Moves Team service improvement projects and initiatives, using your experience and knowledge to ensure high quality customer service and continuous improvement
  • Value the voice and experience of customers, using customer feedback to improve the customers lettings experience

You will work as part of the Home Moves Team based in Trafford, Manchester, interacting closely with the Empty Property Team and Trafford Councils rehousing team to deliver a seamless and effective lettings experience to customers and residents.

What you'll bring:

We are looking for someone who is used to working in a demanding customer facing housing environment, and has a desire to help residents with their housing needs.

  • It is essential that you have a full valid driving license and access to a vehicle for business use for this role.
  • Experience of working in lettings and an understanding of lettings policies and procedures is desirable but not essential.
  • Be good at building relationships with people and be able to communicate well with colleagues and residents
  • Be self-motivated and an innovative problem solver, confident in taking ownership of complex problems whilst adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Have a can-do attitude and be motivated by keeping the promises you make.
  • Have excellent time management skills with the ability to set priorities to achieve deadlines and targets.
  • Be organised, flexible and have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of using Microsoft office packages.
