Senior Housing Officer

I am pleased to invite applications for a permanent vacancy for a Senior Housing Officer.
The successful candidate will lead for the housing service on the implementation and successful delivery of the Greasbrough Ward Neighbourhood Management Pilot, being delivered as part of the Housing Service Transformation Programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help reshape how housing services are delivered and in doing so enhanced the service offer and outcomes achieved for our customers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Central Locality Housing and Estate Management Team, as Senior Housing Officer. You will lead a dedicated team of Area Housing Officers and Area Housing Assistants within the Greasbrough Ward to test and deliver a new operational model for tenancy and estate management services. This will require innovative thinking, extensive multi-agency working, influencing, shaping and ultimately delivering better quality services and improved outcomes for our tenants and residents.
You will have an understanding of social housing regulations and expectations, experience of working in a housing related or other public service environment and demonstrable experience of working effectively with a range of services, partners and local Ward Members.
You will also have experience of effective engagement with customers and stakeholders with a clear understanding of customer care standards. Also, a sound understanding of dealing with tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour and supporting our most vulnerable residents.
The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate a clear understanding and relevant experience of developing and managing service innovation and change.
You will require Level 7 qualification e.g. Post Graduate Certificates and Diplomas, or Level 6 qualification e.g. Bachelor Degrees, Graduate Certificates and Diplomas; plus post qualifying experience or evidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience

Salary range
