Working within the Market Engagement team, the Senior Manager – Market Engagement and Stakeholder Insight plays a key role in ensuring Homes England and the National Housing Bank have a strong, evidence led understanding of our market partners, their priorities, behaviours and experiences. This role sits at the heart of how stakeholder intelligence, qualitative research and relationship data are brought together to inform strategy, delivery and engagement across the Agency.

You will lead core programmes and activity that gather, analyse and translate stakeholder insight into clear, actionable intelligence for senior leaders, regional teams and delivery colleagues. Working closely with a wide range of internal teams – including Strategy, Research, Economics, Analysis, Communications and regional delivery colleagues – you will help ensure that decisions are informed by a rich understanding of the housing and regeneration market.

Job description

The Senior Manager roles also involves leading and developing key corporate engagement approaches, including the Agency’s Key Account Manager (KAM) programme, priority partner strategies and relationships with trade bodies and sectoral influencers. You will use CRM data, qualitative insight and engagement intelligence to identify risks, opportunities and gaps in our relationships and to recommend practical actions to strengthen Homes England’s impact and influence.

You will lead cross-Agency strategy development and delivery to address these gaps and deliver strong, strategic and intelligence-led relationships with priority stakeholders corporately across the housing and regeneration market.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high profile, nationally significant activity in a growing organisation with a clear social purpose – influencing strategic decision-making, business development and delivery that directly support housing supply and regeneration outcomes across England

Person specification

You’ll be comfortable leading complex stakeholder insight, research and intelligence programmes in a multi stakeholder environment, with a strong focus on ensuring insight drives action and better decision making. You will be highly proficient in translating complex qualitative and quantitative data into clear, compelling insight for senior audiences.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient, confident working with Executive and Senior Leadership Teams, and able to manage challenge constructively. Your approach will be grounded in a strong understanding of the context in which Homes England and the housing market operates. You will enjoy working in an innovative, engaging way and be able to influence, negotiate and persuade across organisational boundaries.

You will be led by outcomes, ensuring that insight gathered is continually used and relevant to support business development, delivery and strategic decision making.

You will be experienced in relationship management, strategy development, and in working with a range of data and intelligence sources to drive decision-making and target engagement activity.
