Your impact in the role:

  • You will have previously worked in, or run, a Programme Management Office (PMO) and will demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, alongside the tenacity to keep projects well governed, on track, and supported by clear, transparent decision-making.
  • You will provide oversight and support across the Transformation Programmes, producing reporting and working closely with Heads of Programmes, Senior Programme Managers, and Project / Programme Managers to ensure appropriate governance and effective management of risks, issues, escalations, and dependencies across projects and programmes.
  • This role will not directly run projects or programmes; however, you will bring previous experience of managing large, complex projects or programmes and will be able to provide leadership while supporting the wider team, including undertaking direct line management responsibilities.
  • This will include working across all levels of the organisation, up to and including Executive level.
  • You will be able to develop and manage projects and/or programmes governance, reporting and associated ways of working.

What you'll bring:

  • Experienced Programme Management Office Management, including reporting and dependency management across multiple Programmes.
  • Experience project / programme manager, and experience in managing and developing other project managers. Skills and experience in running large and / or complex projects and / or Programmes including establishing project / programme structure, planning, reporting and closure.
  • Setting up and assurance Programme governance.
  • Skills and experience in business case management, budgets, benefits and performance and analysis.
  • Skills and experience with stakeholder management, change management, and communication.
