3 days a week, term-time only (including INSET days) - 36 weeks per year
(working days are open to flexibility)
21 hours per week, 8.00am – 4.00pm (with one 4.30pm finish)
Actual Salary £12,442 per annum (£25,922 FTE) – Level 2
Actual Salary £12,676 per annum (£26,410 FTE) – Level 3
An exciting opportunity has become available within our Learning Development Department for a dedicated and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant. We are looking to recruit a motivated, committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will be focused on improving educational outcomes and promoting independence for our students with additional needs.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification
- Have experience of working with students with a range of SEND needs in an educational setting
- Be an excellent communicator with good listening skills
- Be flexible, proactive and a good team player
- Committed to promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
- Have the ability to develop student independence
