Title: Senior Technical Coordinator

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, 35 hours per week

Salary: £35,951 per annum to £39,531 per annum (London weighted salary) or £32,188per annum to £35,593 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience

Grade: 7

Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford

Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reportingoffice/working location (hybrid working)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm

Join our Major Works Team at L&Q:

Join our evolving Preconstruction team within Major Works. You will be involved with the strategy and governance within Pre-Construction and Major Works and help to influence future programmes.

The role will assist with Pre-Construction activities including co-ordinating the team, complex project referrals, party wall agreements preparing and ensure multiple data sources are turned into deliverable projects on site. Including design, technical specification, costed reviews of proposals and assessing deliverability of projects throughout all pre-construction stages

Due to continued growth within Major Works and Preconstruction additional support is required to deliver L&Q’s 15 yr programme

The role will report to the Regional Programme Manager and will work alongside Pre-Construction Project Manager’s within the team. You will assist the Preconstruction Co-ordination Manager when required.

Your impact in the role:

You will provide technical support to our pre-construction team, process validation monthly payments and analysis along with supporting in building future programmes within L&Qs asset management database, plus any other duties required.

You will need to build key relationships with our Asset Strategy Team, Major Works delivery regions, Commercial teams and finance.

You will be a key individual in helping to shape future delivery programmes through our validations process, while also supporting the delivery of current year work via supporting the Preconstruction team with section 20 and planning permission data

What you'll bring:

· Excellent customer service skills

· Able to demonstrate financial and commercial acumen, including risk management skills, financial reporting and presenting to internal/external stakeholders.

· Demonstrate collaboration and influencing skills, with key stakeholders.

· Computer literate, with previous experience in managing asset management data, Excellent MS office skills, specifically MS Excel, an intermediate to advance knowledge is desirable.

· A knowledge of standard measured term partnering forms of contracts (PPC, NEC JCT etc)

· A knowledge of regulatory compliance for fire risk management

· An understanding of all pre-construction activities for major works projects, Specifications, tendering, Design, planning, building regulations, CDM 2015 and leasehold consultation

· An understanding of Mechanical Services and engineering

· Relevant experience
