
Sheltered Housing Officer
We are recruiting Sheltered Housing Officers at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 Hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Various locations across the borough
Team: Housing Services

We pay an attractive salary of £27,711 - £30,060 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Would you like to be part of a dynamic team delivering Housing Support to residents living in sheltered housing schemes across the borough? If so, we want to hear from you !
The successful candidate will undertake and review support plans, signpost to other agencies, monitor wellbeing, encourage social interaction and ensure compliance with health and safety. You will be supporting to deliver a service which enables residents to live independently and safely as well as working with other housing teams to carry out appropriate housing management.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- A Relevant Level 2 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales , or a National Certificate in Supported Housing.
- An Understanding of Health and Safety legislation and Supporting People legislation
- A commitment to providing a high quality customer care service.
- A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to respond to any issues in a sheltered housing scheme.
