Following the retirement of our long-serving and highly valued Site Manager, we are seeking to appoint a dedicated, proactive and skilled individual to join our committed school team.

This is a varied and hands-on role that is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving and wants to play a key part in maintaining a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for our children, staff and visitors. As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, security and upkeep of the school premises. Duties will include carrying out maintenance and repair work, overseeing contractors, managing health and safety compliance, monitoring building systems, undertaking site checks and ensuring the school grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard. You will also act as a key holder and may be required to respond to site emergencies when necessary.

  • Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Can undertake a range of maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard.
  • Is proactive, reliable and able to work effectively on their own initiative.
  • Has a good understanding of health and safety regulations and risk management.
  • Is able to work collaboratively as part of a wider school and Trust team.
  • Can manage contractors and maintain accurate records using IT systems.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
