Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full time. 52 weeks a year

Hours: 15 hours per week

DBS Check: Enhanced

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Site Manager to join our friendly team at Shocklach Oviatt CofE Primary School.

The successful candidate will be committed to providing the best and safest environment possible whilst keeping our school secure. They will undertake regular compliance checks and will work closely with the office team. A good sense of humour is most welcome in our friendly and happy school!

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain the school building, including effecting repairs and improvements;
  • Discuss with and monitor the work of contractors engaged by school to ensure specified standards are achieved;
  • Provide security arrangements including the opening or closing buildings at the beginning and end of the school day;
  • Maintain and monitor Health and Safety standards, reporting any failures;
  • Organise and carry out portering and cleaning duties (including the moving of furniture);
  • Supervise the work of cleaning staff, alongside your own cleaning duties;
  • Maintain the necessary stock of appropriate resources.
