Do you enjoy empowering people to stop smoking and improve their health?

Join the Leeds Stop Smoking Service as a Stop Smoking Advisor and help in supporting individuals facing challenges such as severe mental ill health, homelessness and substance misuse to take positive steps towards a smoke-free life.

You’ll deliver client-led treatment plans tailored to support individuals through their quit attempt. Your role will involve explaining smoking cessation options to help clients make informed decisions, conducting carbon monoxide monitoring, and maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory standards.

This is a rewarding role where you'll build strong relationships with clients, work alongside health and community partners, and support people at every stage of their quit journey. The role includes some evening and weekend working to ensure services remain accessible and responsive to client needs.

Who we’re looking for:

• An interest in or knowledge of, smoking cessation, health improvement and/or healthcare.
• A level 2 Smoking Cessation Adviser qualification or willingness to work towards achieving this
• Willingness to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
• A willingness to travel across Leeds to deliver support in community and clinical settings.
