We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Stores Assistant to join our friendly Housing Property Services team.
This is a key operational role, ensuring that materials and tools are issued efficiently, deliveries are received and recorded accurately, and all stock and equipment processes are followed to a high standard.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the stores department
- Issuing and receiving materials, stock, and tools
- Managing deliveries, collections, and pick lists
- Assisting with regular tool and equipment safety compliance checks
- Helping to implement improved ways of working as we roll out a ICT system
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
- Confident and safe use of a counterbalance & reach truck, including in confined spaces
- A proactive, team-focused approach and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work methodically and maintain accurate records
- Applicants must possess a valid and current driver's license.
