
Strategy & Policy Officer
We are recruiting for a Strategy & Policy Officer to join our Corporate Strategy & Partnerships Service.

We’re looking for a dynamic and collaborative Strategy & Policy Officer to help deliver this vision. You’ll play a key role in shaping the development of strategy and policy to achieve the boroughs ambitions and managing high-impact strategic projects to improve the lives of residents.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a borough-wide movement for change, helping to shape how we work together, tackle inequality, and improve lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & policy development – Working with key stakeholders to develop strategies and plans to achieve the boroughs ambitions.
- Strategic projects – Supporting the delivery of strategic projects with council services and key partners around our shared priorities.
- Translate strategic priorities into action - Helping partners and services align their work with the vision and deliver real change on the ground.
- Mobilise partnerships - To deliver the Our Tower Hamlets 2035 ambitions, working across sectors to develop shared solutions to complex challenges.
- Support innovation and learning - Creating space for experimentation, sharing lessons, and scaling up what works.
- Champion equity and inclusion, ensuring our work reflects the borough’s diversity and tackles systemic inequalities.
