Sheringham Nursery School and Children’s Centre leads A Brighter Start: London’s Stronger Practice Hub – part of a national network funded by the Department for Education and supported by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and National Children’s Bureau (NCB). The Stronger Practice Hub programme aims to improve quality in early years so that every child has the best possible start in life.
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and flexible Administrator to provide essential administrative and financial support to our Stronger Practice Hub (SPH) team. You will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Hub, supporting educators across London to access training, evidence-informed programmes, and professional development opportunities.
In this role, you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for early years educators, settings, and schools.
- Manage communications across email, phone, WhatsApp, and social media.
- Maintain calendars, systems, and databases to track engagement and delivery.
- Support event and training organisation, including bookings and participant communication.
- Manage and update our social media channels daily with engaging, professional content.
- Process orders, payments, and invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is highly organised and able to use initiative.
- Has excellent written and spoken English and good maths skills.
- Is confident using Google Drive, Mailchimp, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and social media platforms.
- Works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Can build positive relationships with colleagues, educators, and stakeholders.
- (Desirable) Has experience in the early years sector.

Salary range
- £30,288 - £31,611 per year
