    Support Worker - Westcroft (£25,857pa)

    Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? Wecurrently have an opportunity for a full time (37.5 hours per week) Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Westcroft, in Tring. Westcroft is a supported living service for individuals with learning disabilities across three main buildings and several community-based homes.

    We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in empowering people to achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives.

    As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping people live independently and with dignity. As part of the role, you will:

    • Assess needs and develop personalised support plans
    • Promote independence through life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
    • Provide personal care with sensitivity and respect
    • Follow and contribute to risk assessments and management plans
    • Induct and assist in the mentoring of new staff
    • Support aspirations and help individuals achieve their goals

    You will be part of a friendly, supportive team that values collaboration and compassion.

    About you:

    We are looking for someone with experience in the care or support sector, who brings a can-do attitude and a genuine desire to help others thrive.

    You will also need to:

    • Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs and preferences
    • Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
    • Work well as part of a team and independently
    • Be committed to equality, diversity, and person-centred care
    • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work

    It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a vehicle for work purposes and are happy to do sleep-ins. (an allowance for £52.78 per sleep in is paid)

    We will support your development with a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.
