    Location: Gawcott, near Buckingham
    Salary: £15,513 per annum for a 22.5-hour contract (£13.26 per hour)
    Hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week
    Contract: Permanent

    This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team at Old Barn, a registered care home in Gawcott. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering the lives of the people we support, helping them develop independence and achieve their personal goals.

    We provide round-the-clock care for four adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, autism, and some physical disabilities. Our focus is on creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel respected and valued.

    What You Will Be Doing

    As a Support Worker, you will:

    • Assess needs and develop personalised support plans
    • Promote independence through life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
    • Provide personal care with sensitivity and respect
    • Support aspirations and help individuals achieve their goals
    • Organise and assist with outings, appointments, and activities
    • Administer medication and maintain a healthy, safe environment
    • Contribute to risk assessments and management plans
    • Induct and mentor new staff members

    You will be part of a friendly, collaborative team that works together to provide compassionate, person-centred care.

    About You

    We are looking for someone who brings experience in the care or support sector, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help others thrive.

    You will also need to:

    • Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs and preferences
    • Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
    • Work well as part of a team and independently
    • Be committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion
    • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work
