Salary: £28,605 - £31,029 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Working Hours: 30 hrs per week

We have an exciting role for support worker within the Coalville Locality Safeguarding Team
About the Role
You will provide direct high-quality integrated family support and childcare services to children and young people as part of a family support/safeguarding plan by working as part of an integrated team to provide a range of home/centre-based family support interventions that contribute to improving outcomes for children, young people, and families.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.

About You
To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:
- NVQ level 3 in childcare qualification(NNEB/NVQ3) or equivalent
- Previous experience of caring for children or young people in a personal, voluntary or statutory capacity or experience of working to protect and improve the life changes of children or young people
- Experience in a social care setting
- Basic Knowledge of Child Development
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Good verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with children, young people, families, colleagues and professionals.
