We are looking for a Supported Employment Partnership Coordinator to join Lambeth’s Skills and Employment team. This is a pivotal role in developing and expanding pathways into supported employment for young people and adults with SEND and other complex needs.

You will act as a key link between Skills and Employment and colleagues across Children’s Services, Adult Social Care, SEND, Leaving Care and Youth Offending Services, ensuring residents benefit from a joined-up, borough-wide offer.

You will also play a central role in delivering Connect to Work, a new five-year Department for Work and Pensions funded programme providing tailored support to Lambeth residents.

    What You’ll Do

    • Build strong referral pathways into supported employment, working closely with Adult Social Care teams, schools, colleges, and local providers.
    • Support residents with additional needs to access and sustain paid employment, providing tailored one-to-one advice and guidance.
    • Champion and grow Supported Internships in Lambeth, including Project SEARCH, working with schools, colleges, parents/carers, and employers.
    • Lead the Supported Employment Partnership, bringing together local stakeholders to create new opportunities and share best practice.
    • Engage with employers to promote inclusive recruitment, showcasing the business and social value of supported employment.
    • Monitor and track progress against the Supported Employment Quality Assurance Framework (SEQF), ensuring continuous improvement and high standards.
    • Develop and share resources, training and guidance to strengthen pathways into employment for residents with SEND and other complex needs.

    • Passionate about equity, inclusion and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to thrive in work.
    • Experienced in Supported Employment delivery, including knowledge of IPS and/or SEQF models.
    • Skilled at building and sustaining effective partnerships across social care, education, health, employment services, and employers.
