At Kedleston Group, our vision is simple, every provision we operate will be recognised as ‘outstanding’ in every way.

We will never be the biggest, but we will lead, and others will follow.

    About the role:

As a Computer Science Teacher at Mill School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will plan, assess and deliver outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable all young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are also met. You will establish excellent relationships with parents and carers and inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, families and other professionals.

    About you:

For this role, we are looking for someone who holds a teaching degree or equivalent and QTS. You will have teaching experience delivering the Computer Science National Curriculum (KS3/KS4) along with experience of working with children with SEND and ASC.

We are keen to hear from teachers who have experience working with children with autism spectrum conditions and social emotional and mental health needs,

With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective teaching at KS3 and KS4, which engages and motivates young people, you’ll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you’ll want to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people. We would love to hear from you if you share our passion and commitment to develop confident and capable young people by meeting their educational, health and social care needs in structured, nurturing school.

We very much welcome applications from teachers wishing to transition from mainstream to working with smaller groups of students in special education. We will help you build your expertise and confidence to deliver high quality, lively and effective classroom teaching in an autism-friendly way through our ongoing package of training, CPD and one to one supervision.
