Newton-le-Willows Primary is looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner to join our team from 1st September 2026. Experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 would be desirable. The post is fixed term until 31/08/2027.

Newton-le-Willows Primary is a popular and successful primary school with a hard - working team of teachers and support staff, as well as an enthusiastic and supportive Governing Body.

The Governors are seeking to appoint someone who:

  • has experience of teaching in a primary school particularly in KS2
  • is able to plan creatively and effectively to meet the needs of all children in the class
  • possesses a strong and secure subject knowledge
  • demonstrates outstanding practice and works well within a team
  • is innovative, inspirational and passionate about children’s learning
  • is highly motivated, with energy and enthusiasm
  • will set high expectations of all children’s learning, attitude, behaviour and care
  • is an excellent communicator
  • is self-reflective and able to improve their own practice and outcomes for children
  • is eager to develop their skills and experience
  • is able to manage their time effectively
  • is committed to the safeguarding, welfare and personal development of young people
  • will make a positive contribution to school improvement
  • will contribute to the wider life of school
