Wirral Grammar School for Girls has a thriving Business studies department with two full time members of staff. We are expanding the department and will be offering our sixth form students the opportunity to study A Level Economics from September 2026. Wirral Grammar School for Girls is an exciting school to work in and the school was judged Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in December 2022.

The department has celebrated phenomenal success in recent years with exceptional results at both GCSE and A Level. Business Studies is a very popular choice at both GCSE and A Level but we also recognise that there is an increasing interest in the number of students wanting to study Economics.

We are ambitious and committed to the provision of all girls education and the school equips students with the knowledge and confidence they need in order to realise their long-term ambitions. Respectful relationships between staff and students are central to the schools ethos and make this a happy and fulfilling school in which to work.
