About this Role

The Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls is looking for a high-calibre Teacher of English to join our talented and supportive department. This maternity cover position is anticipated to last until the end of May 2027, but could end sooner (subject to the post-holder’s return). It offers a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with passionate, experienced colleagues, and we welcome applications from English teachers at all stages of their careers, including ECTs.

The successful candidate will:

The successful candidate will become part of an oversubscribed, flourishing school for girls aged 11 to 18, with confident, courteous, articulate students and an ethos of empowerment.
