Aylward Academy is seeking a creative educator to join our thriving Humanities Department. You will teach across a range of Humanities subjects, with a strong focus on Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons that inspire students to explore the world around them and understand their place within it.
About You
- You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong subject knowledge in Humanities.
- You're passionate about teaching and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
- You have the ability to inspire students of all abilities and create a lifelong love of learning.
- You're eager to contribute to the wider school community, including enrichment activities and trips.
About Aylward Academy
Based in Edmonton, North London, Aylward Academy was established in September 2010 and is an 11-19 learning community with over 1,000 students on roll, including a thriving sixth form. Aylward is situated within a diverse and vibrant London community. Many of our students have English as an additional language, and a significant proportion are entitled to the Pupil Premium. The School is currently rated as GOOD by its last Ofsted inspection in July 2021.

Salary range
- £36,413 - £53,994 per year
