School leaders and Local Governance Committee members are seeking to appoint an exceptional Year 5 teacher, working equivalent of 2 days a week. This is initially a 2-term contract (starting after Christmas) which may lead to a permanent role should both the candidate and school see fit. (Start could also be brought forward to November 3rd should the successful candidate be available.)
It is a main pay scale role.
We would like our applicants to be:
- A highly organised and motivated individual
- An exceptional communicator who is committed to making a job share work positively and successfully
- This role would be suitable for an ECT or experienced teacher.
- An interest in Maths subject leadership or being part of a Maths subject team is desired but not essential

Shortlisted candidates will be observed teaching as part of the recruitment process. These teaching observations will take place on Tuesday 7th October, and all candidates whose observations meet our expectations will be invited to interview on Thursday 9th October
All shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide contact details of 2 referees and the successful candidate will be offered the position subject to satisfactory reference checks.
