The Governors of JH Godwin Primary School would like to appoint an exceptional and highly motivated full time class teacher to join our team of KS2 staff, whilst a member of staff is on maternity leave, from September 2026 until April 2027.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent classroom practitioner who can make a valuable contribution to our already hard working and dedicated team. The successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge of the primary curriculum and be able to establish strong relationships with children, staff and parents. We are a trauma-informed school who is looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference for our children and has a good understanding and experience of the range of challenges that children face. As a member of our team, you will be able to contribute to the range of enriching opportunities that we provide to our children, which enable them to achieve our school vision to be the best that they can be. As a one form entry school, we are seeking someone who can use their own initiative, as well as work collaboratively as a team. Candidates with experience of teaching UKS2 will be of particular interest to us.
