Sandiway Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic class teacher with the commitment and vision to join our dedicated team. This is a temporary position from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 in the first instance.
We are looking to appoint an individual who:
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner who values every child and supports them in growing and achieving together?
- Is enthusiastic, caring and dedicated with a genuine passion for teaching and learning
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to our inclusive ethos, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and able to succeed
- Has secure knowledge of the National Curriculum and delivers engaging, creative lessons that inspire a love of learning
- Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour, supporting all children to thrive
- Is committed to raising standards and enabling every child to reach their full potential
- Adopts an inclusive approach to teaching and effectively supports children with a range of needs, including those with an EHCP
- Is keen to develop wider curriculum responsibility and grow as a subject leader, with support and guidance
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community, working collaboratively and contributing fully to school life
