Findern Primary School is an excellent place to work.

If you are someone who will inspire those around you, build meaningful relationships, embrace our team ethic and help us make Findern an even better place to live, learn and work, we want to hear from you.

We are a Forest School and offer all learners the opportunity to grow and develop lifelong skills through hands-on learning experiences. Looking after the environment and preparing children to be responsible adults is a key part of what we do and we are proud to have ECO school status.

We welcome applications from Teaching Assistants who have had previous experience supporting children with SEND either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. Applicants will be able to demonstrate their passion for SEND and be able to clearly articulate the impact and importance of both high-quality teaching and access to a bespoke curriculum for SEND children.

You would be expected to support an individual child alongside the class teacher, both 1:1 and in small group situations, in all areas of the curriculum. You may also be required to participate in meetings that concern the educational provision for the children you support.

We can offer the opportunity to become a valuable member of the school with happy children supported by an excellent and inclusive teaching team, as well as a Governing body who are well trained, committed and supportive.

Hours of Work:

08:30am to 11:30am, Monday to Friday.

Findern Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We would welcome and encourage visits to the school. Please contact the school office on 01283 702150 to make an appointment.
