Teaching and Learning Assistant (Reception Class)

Dallimore Primary and Nursery School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team.
Working in one of our reception classes, you will support children’s learning, development and wellbeing, elping to ensure every child gets the best possible
start to their education.

We are looking for someone who:
Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Has experience working with young children.
Has high expectations and a commitment to helping all children succeed.
Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Works effectively as part of a team and is keen to develop professionally.

Experience of speech and language support, phonics interventions or supporting children with additional needs would be an advantage.

Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
