Stanton-in-Peak C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant for 1:1 and whole class work in an infant class. We are looking for someone caring, kind, with an understanding of SEND needs including Autism. The ideal candidate should have initiative and experience at supporting pupils with SEND needs. This position will also require some lunchtime duties, which are included in the hours above.

You will also provide teacher and pupil support to enable pupils to access all areas of the school curriculum and enhance pupil achievement working with infant pupils. You will assist in a range of support activities in relation to individuals’ needs, safeguarding, care, health and wellbeing of the pupils to ensure a safe and secure environment and that every child thrives.

Working hours are as follows:

Monday - 8.30-3.15

Friday – 8.30-3.15
