Part-Time Teaching Assistant (EYFS & KS1) with Pastoral and Intervention Responsibilities

Hours: Part-Time Monday to Thursday 8:50am to 12pm Friday 8:50am to 3:20pm (1 hour lunch)

We are seeking a dedicated, nurturing and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1). This exciting role combines classroom
support with a pastoral responsibility, delivering targeted interventions and providing both one-to-one and small-group support to help children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
• Support teaching and learning across EYFS and KS1 classrooms.
• Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Provide targeted academic interventions to individuals and small groups.
• Deliver bespoke support programmes to help pupils meet identified learning goals.
• Undertake a pastoral role, supporting pupils' wellbeing, emotional development and positive behaviour.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and staff.
• Monitor, record and report on pupil progress and engagement.
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:
• Has experience of working with children in EYFS and/or KS1.
• Has a caring, patient and positive approach.
• Understands the importance of supporting children's emotional wellbeing alongside their academic development.
• Has experience delivering interventions or targeted support programmes.
• Can work effectively with individuals, small groups and whole classes.
• Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
