The governors at Acresfield Academy are looking to appoint an excellent teaching assistant to join our school from September to work with children requiring additional support, predominantly in the early years. This is a really exciting opportunity to join a dedicated, forward-thinking team. We joined North West Academies Trust in 2019, so you will also be a part of a dynamic and successful Trust.

The post is for 32.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday during term time. It is a temporary position starting as soon as possible.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate they can encourage children to develop, both academically and personally and overcome barriers to learning in a nurturing and calm environment.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they are a flexible, team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt their practice according to the needs of the pupil. You will be joining a hardworking and highly successful staff team, who will provide you with appropriate support and challenge to enable you to develop yourself professionally.
