PART TIME TEMPORARY TEACHING ASSISTANT

Grade 4 (£24,790-£25,183 pro-rata, 39 weeks plus holiday pay)
Temporary until 31st August 2026
To start September 2025 – 16.25 hours per week (Mon – Fri, 12 – 3.15pm)

The Governors and Headteacher are looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to work across our school. The role involves supervising lunchtime play (12-1pm) and working as a teaching assistant (1 – 3.15pm).

Starting in September 2025, the successful candidate must have experience of supporting children’s learning as well as their social and emotional needs. You should be warm, encouraging, patient and be dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all children. NVQ Level 3 is a desirable requirement of the position. The successful candidate will work across the primary phases. Experience of supporting children with special educational needs would be beneficial as this may form part of the role.

This position is offered on a temporary basis in the first instance but may be extended depending upon the future requirements of the school.
