SEN Teaching Assistant: 35 hours per week/38 weeks per year. Grade 5 Permanent

We are looking for a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant to support pupils with additional needs. You’ll play a vital role in helping children thrive academically and emotionally, working closely with class teachers, SENCO and outside agencies.
The successful candidate will work with colleagues in a small class setting supporting and create a stimulating, safe and caring teaching and learning environment for pupils with a range of additional needs.
Key responsibilities:
- To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children place in the classroom.
- To work as part of a team, providing an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.
- To build and maintain strong partnerships, working with parents to ensure their child/children needs are met.
Working under the guidance of the teacher, the successful post-holder will also be responsible for key responsibilities as described in the Job Description provided
