    Teaching Assistant (EYFS & SEND Support) – Grade 5 (30 hours)
    Plus Breakfast Club Supervisor – Grade 6 (7 hours)
    Total Hours: 37 per week
    Start Date: As soon as possible (Autumn term)

    Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting children to thrive in a nurturing, inclusive environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our committed team.

    This is a dual-role position comprising:

    • 30 hours per week (Grade 5) as a Teaching Assistant working partly within our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and also providing targeted support to a pupil with complex additional needs in Key Stage 1.
    • 7 hours per week (Grade 6) supervising our Breakfast Club, starting daily at 7:30am, ensuring a warm and structured start to the school day for pupils.

    About the Role:

    • In EYFS, you will work closely with teachers to create a supportive learning environment, encouraging curiosity, independence and early development.
    • During the rest of the day, you will provide consistent one-to-one or small-group support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them to access learning and navigate the school day successfully.
    • You will also work in our Breakfast Club, offering a safe and welcoming environment and promoting positive routines before the start of lessons.

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Has experience of working in a primary school setting, preferably with EYFS and/or SEND.
    • Demonstrates empathy, patience and adaptability when supporting children with additional needs.
    • Is able to foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
    • Is organised, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Holds relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent).
    • Has paediatric first aid or is willing to undertake training
