Teaching Assistant (KS1) – Wednesday to Friday | Temporary Position

At Pewithall Primary School, we are proud of our warm, welcoming ethos and commitment to excellence. We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage One team on a temporary basis, working Wednesday to Friday each week.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a vibrant school community where innovation, kindness, and pupil voice are at the heart of everything we do.

In this role, you will:
• Support pupils in their learning across KS1, including phonics, literacy, and numeracy.
• Work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality, inclusive education.
• Foster positive relationships and help children develop confidence and independence.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience working with children in a school setting.
• Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to making a difference.
• Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).

Key Details:
• Hours: Wednesday to Friday (specific hours to be confirmed)
• Contract: Temporary (initially for two terms)
• Salary: Halton Grade
• Closing Date: Monday 15th September 2025
• Interview Week: TBC
