
Teaching Assistant
At Over Hall Community School, we pride ourselves on having a nurturing school ethos with high expectations, where every child is valued and included. The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is highly motivated, committed, compassionate and keen to take an active role in the life of our school.
In this key role, you will provide high-quality support across the school, including:
- Supporting English and Maths interventions for children across the primary phase.
- Promoting high standards of achievement and fostering a positive learning environment.
The successful candidate will work flexibly across all year groups, from EYFS to Year 6, supporting children of varying abilities, including those with special educational needs.
We are looking for:
- An enthusiastic team player with a “can do” attitude.
- Someone who holds high expectations for all children and is committed to their success.
- A flexible, adaptable individual who is happy to teach all classes and subjects.
The role is 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm, 39 weeks per year including inset days. In your role you will work closely with our class teachers, other teaching assistants and support staff.
