Teaching Assistant

Permanent,part time, term time only (39 weeks)

Hours of work (8:30-4:00 Wed and Thur and 8:30-3:30 on a Friday)

St Michael’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to employ a committed, experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to be able to provide support across all key stages.

We are recruiting a vibrant and committed Teaching Assistant to work in KS1 for 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). There may be occasions additional hours are available. You should be an experienced Teaching Assistant with a good knowledge of phonics and the KS1 curriculum. Candidates need to be a team player with the ability work with groups and also on a 1:1 basis with children. Assisting the Class Teacher with lessons and resources, a can do attitude is required and the ability to liaise well with parents and other members of staff.
