We are now looking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant (TA1) to join our warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the start of their career in education - whether you're newly qualified, returning to work, or simply passionate about working with children.
We welcome applicants with an interest in Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, and we are particularly interested in candidates who want to grow their skills in supporting children with communication needs, behaviour, SEMH, or additional learning needs.
The successful candidate will:
- Be enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to support children's learning and wellbeing
- Have experience working with children (in a school, childcare, or voluntary capacity)
- Be committed to inclusion and willing to support children with additional needs
- Be keen to learn and grow within a supportive and experienced team
- Be able to build warm, professional relationships with pupils and staff
- Work flexibly, using initiative while following guidance from the class teacher
- Be committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils

The working hours during term time are typically 8:40-15:30 Monday to Friday with a 17:00 finish for staff meeting/development once a week. A personalised timetable will be issued annually. You will also work the five inset days across the year for targeted CPD activities.

Salary range
- £20,033 - £20,394 per year
