Elleray Park School Pensby is a Primary Special School for children with severe and complex needs. We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 1 who is passionate about working with children with additional needs. The hours for this role are 11:30 - 13:30 Monday to Friday, term time only.
Our school provides a nurturing, inclusive environment for children and young people aged 3-11 with a range of complex learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and medical
needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils during the lunch break, including feeding support where necessary.
Assist with personal care and mobility needs in a respectful and dignified manner.
Engage pupils in positive play and social interaction.
Work as part of a supportive team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils.
Maintain a calm and caring approach in a busy environment.
We are looking for someone who:
Is kind, reliable, and enjoys working with children with additional needs.
Can remain calm under pressure and work flexibly as part of a team.
Is willing to undertake training in areas such as manual handling, feeding, and personal care.
Has experience working in a school or care setting (desirable but not essential).

Salary range
- £5,915 - £6,008 per year
