The position is for 15 hours per week over 5 days (Monday-Friday). Morning or afternoon hours are available and this will be discussed with applicants at interview. There may also be the opportunity of an additional 5 hours as a lunchtime Welfare Assistant (paid at Grade B SCP 2) for the successful candidate. Due to the nature of the work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
