Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SRP)

Required for January 2027, we are seeking to recruit an experienced, passionate, and effective practitioner, to work in our brand new SEN resource provision for children with communication & interaction and cognition & learning needs.

The SRP is due to open in January 2027 within Priory Lane Community
School as part of The North Lincolnshire SEN local offer.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who has experience, skills and ambition for the children to be nurtured and educated in a way that matches their needs to enable them to accomplish their learning and personal targets.

Working across the school, with SRP and mainstream staff, the role is suited to those with a sense of purpose, a positive outlook and a passion for helping children to be the best that they can be.

We are looking for teaching assistants who:

Have a proven ability to support pupils with SEND needs effectively through the use of dynamic & engaging techniques.
Have the ability to work with a team in a responsive and flexible manner, responding to the instruction and advice of the provision lead.
Can use their initiative to solve problems.
Can share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
Are able to lead small groups, 1:1 teaching along with preparing lessons and resources as well as completing paperwork to demonstrate learning and impact
Can build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.
Are flexible, committed to our school and willing to take a full part in the life of our school community.
